The Lion Shows its Teeth

After an unseasonably warm weekend the first dandelion bloomed. Bald eagles, robins, and geese are on the move.

Apple Blossoms

In town, I noticed apple blossoms and a blooming lilac bush. In the woods, ink cap mushrooms and violets were abundant. A few garlic mustard plants had small white flowers. Plum Blossoms

The first American Plum blossom are visible along highway 75, north of town. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the sun.

Good Friday

An inch of rain has encouraged new growth on this Good Friday. American Plum leaves are bursting from their buds. The first dandelions are in bloom.
