Three days of gloomy weather have saturated the ground; earthworms cover the sidewalks. A late afternoon snowstorm was quite the spectacle.

Summer Breeze

65-70 mph wind gusts left downed trees and branches on every city block in Blair, Nebraska. I noticed that most of the large trees lost in the storm were Silver Maples, a.k.a the “car crusher” maple.
